Matthew Brazil, Co Founder

Matthew has over 18 year’s commercial experience and is a respected consultant who has led a number of software as a service (SaaS) projects. Matthew regularly works with a number of major marketing agencies to shape the digital offering. His understanding of the processes and methodologies behind social media are frequently used by agencies across a range of clients from different sectors.

Paul Taylor, Co Founder

Previously Marketing Director at one of the UK’s leading IP video and Telepresence systems integrators. Paul has a process improvement management consultancy background and holds a Masters Degree in Marketing. Paul has extensive experience working with a number of marketing, brand, digital and PR agencies as well as leading corporate organisations implementing applied social media monitoring campaigns.

Mike Alderson. Head of Public Sector Services

Mike is a former senior Sussex Police officer with a strong background in public sector media, marketing and communications. As a high profile consultant specialising in the development of customer focused services, Mike has worked with the majority of police forces in the UK, with local authorities and government departments and regularly presents at key professional conferences. In addition to his consultancy work, Mike is an Associate Tutor at the National Police Leadership College, Bramshill working on the Senior Leadership Development Programme.

Julie Burgess, PA to Directors

Julie has been with 6Consulting from the start. She works closely with the directors on a daily basis and therefore has extensive knowledge of the business. Julie knows who key personnel are (both external and internal) and understands the organisation’s key objective to deliver ‘best in class’ service.

Richard Cox, Account Manager

Richard is a Cambridge University graduate with a high degree of technical knowledge. Prior to joining 6Consulting, Richard held an Account Management role with Sun Microsystems where he developed excellent Client Service skills. Richard ensures that all his accounts achieve the full benefits of using the Radian6 monitoring platform. Richard holds regular group training sessions and is renowned for going that extra mile.

Tom List, Account Manager

Tom joined 6Consulting from the Carphone Warehouse Group where he specialised in business sales. Tom held a successful account management role for 4 years dealing with a range of corporate organisations, he now applies his innovative methods for engaging online audiences at 6Consulting. A graduate from the University of Leicester Tom builds relationships with key agency partners and corporates bringing social media monitoring services to leading brands through both direct and indirect channels.

Sarah James, Press Officer

Sarah has over 15 years of PR experience working with a variety of technology companies, from start up to more established organisations delivering, one-off campaigns, on-going strategies, product launches and promotional events that build brands and engender client loyalty.

Simon Wilton-Smith, Development Director (Metrix6)

Simon is the Development director of Metrix6 our proprietary reporting dashboard. Simon tracks and identifies new opportunities to improve our web methodology and reporting offerings. He assists in strategic sales efforts from a technical perspective and consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients managing reporting standards across the project teams.

Sarah May, Data Analyst

Sarah May has worked with 6Consulting since August 2008. Sarah contributes to the engagement frameworks during the planning stages of any campaign as her experience of interpreting commentary within social media consistently proves invaluable. Sarah is quick to spot trending topics existing within complex conversational dynamics

Simon Rothwell, Data Analyst

Simon is expert in listening to customer conversation in social media. Simon is also a personal avid user of social media and brings to client campaigns a deep understanding of the social web. Simon has a natural ability to gage when and how a commercial entity should join a conversation. He is experienced in delivering organic contribution, based on agreed frameworks, to social web conversation. Simon also holds a 1st class honors’ degree in Biochemistry.

Marcel LeBrun CEO

As Chief Executive Officer of Radian6, Marcel brings with him years of leadership with various technology start-ups. A serial entrepreneur, he has raised over $100 million in financing, completed an IPO on the Nasdaq and TSX, and headed up an acquisition by a publicly traded company.

Prior to joining Radian6, Marcel was vice-president of technology consulting at IPTV solutions firm, Mariner Partners. He has also served as chief executive officer and general manager of SalesBridge Canada Corp., and vice-president, fixed solutions division (FSD) of Paris-based, Alcatel, a leading provider of communications solutions to telecommunication carriers. In 1998, Marcel co-founded and was president and CEO of ImagicTV Inc. a start-up company that quickly became the worldwide market leader in IPTV video software solutions. Marcel began his career at NBTel (Aliant Inc.) holding various positions in engineering, planning and marketing.

Chris Newton CTO

As the founder of Radian6 and its chief technology officer, Chris has established himself as a well respected, serial entrepreneur and successful inventor. His expertise lies in creating systems that can process massive volumes of real-time data including, monitoring, distilling and visualization. Chris has more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the areas of intrusion detection, network monitoring, analytics and data mining.

Prior to starting Radian6, Chris founded Q1 Labs, a successful network security management firm headquartered in Boston. He was the primary architect and developer of the Q1 Labs patented solution. Chris has also held a variety of senior technical positions at the University of New Brunswick.

Chris Ramsey VP Business Development

As vice-president of business development, Chris brings over 14 years of experience in the areas of business development, marketing, and product management.

Chris has held a variety of executive and director positions at Microsoft, Axonwave Software, NCompass Labs (acquired by Microsoft in 2001), and Fulcrum Technologies (acquired by Hummingbird in 1998). While at NCompass Labs, he was responsible for positioning the company’s content management product as a leader in its class. At Microsoft, Chris was responsible for worldwide product management and product marketing of Microsoft’s Content Management Server.

Jerry Carr VP Engineering

Development within Radian6 is led by Jerry Carr, VP of Engineering. As Vice President of Engineering, Jerry has over 15 years experience in the fields of system architecture, design and development, specifically in the areas of web-based service delivery, enterprise application integration (EAI), and next generation IP-based application development. His technical experience spans numerous technologies, including Java/J2EE, Microsoft.NET Framework, EAI Message Brokers, Web Services, and Web 2.0 technologies.

Previously, Jerry was development manager and system architect for T4G, a technology consulting company. Jerry has also held various technical leadership and Director level positions during his career with various companies, including Alcatel Canada, iMagicTV, and NBTel.

David Alston VP Marketing

David is Vice President of Marketing at social media monitoring solution company, Radian6, which is head officed in Fredericton, New Brunswick. David has built his career in technology marketing first with one of Canada’s regional phone companies, Aliant, and then with a number of tech startups in the interactive advertising and the video over IP space. Previous to Radian6 David was partner and Vice President of Marketing Strategy with one of the region’s fastest growing PR firms, Revolution Strategy.
